Egypt:

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken appealed for peace between Israel and Palestine as he began his Middle East tour in Cairo on Monday.

He urged both sides to "remain calm" and try to reduce tensions.

Antony Blinken leaves for Israel and the Palestinian Territories, after meeting with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Egypt's foreign minister.

Antony Blinken's visit comes as Israel grapples with an attack outside a synagogue in Jerusalem.

While talking to Saudi TV channel Al Arabiya, Blinken said that we have seen terrible terrorist attacks in the last few days, which we condemn.

At a news conference in Cairo on Monday, Blinken urged all sides to calm things down and reduce tensions, as well as urged both countries to work to resolve the problem.

Here, on behalf of the Palestinian Health Ministry, it has been said that in the latest violent incidents, Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian man in the West Bank city of Hebron.

Let us tell that with this, 35 Palestinian civilians have died in the last one month.

The United States has historically led Middle East diplomacy, and Egypt, which has good relations with Israel, has long served as a mediator in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
