The special operation was carried out following an investigation by officers from the "Counteraction of Criminal Crime" sector at the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MOIA) Pernik, under the direction of the District Prosecutor's Office.

The four participants in the criminal scheme were initially detained for a period of 24 hours with a police measure.
By decree of the supervising prosecutor, their measure will be extended to 72 hours in order to submit a request to the court to impose a measure of remand.
