There remains the threat of Russia receiving Iranian ballistic missiles, against which Ukrainian air defense in its current form is powerless.

This was announced by Air Force spokesman Colonel Yuriy Ignat on the air of the national telethon.

Ignat reminded that the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine cannot counter the enemy's ballistic missiles and anti-aircraft missiles flying along a ballistic trajectory.

He emphasized the importance of providing our country with the Patriot PAC-3 and SAMP-T systems.

"The main threat that hangs in the air and can still be implemented is, of course, Iranian missiles. Russia has not abandoned its intentions to receive kamikaze drones from Iran and, in a certain way, the missiles that were announced earlier - Fateh and Zolfaghar . This is ballistics, we have no means against ballistics today. We understand that Russia also has ballistics in the form of the same Dagger missiles. It is actually a complex, but air-based, which hits along a ballistic trajectory. Likewise, X missiles -22... and S-300 S-400 missiles are anti-aircraft missiles that hit on a ballistic trajectory," he explained.

The spokesman of the Air Force noted that these are currently one of the main challenges and threats.

"It is possible to destroy them (installations - ed.) in positions as well, but our partners also understand that against ballistic threats we need means. Such as Patriot PAC-3 and SAMP-T. We see a shift: Italy, France have also declared their readiness to transfer and these systems of Ukraine, which are now being actively discussed after the same "Ramstein". Therefore, the threat is there, it has not disappeared anywhere, and we must react to it," he concluded

We will remind, in Iran, several large military facilities were attacked by kamikaze drones.

According to unofficial data, explosions rang out, in particular, at the Shahed drone production plant and an oil refinery.

No organization or country claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Analysts and observers of the influential media assume that Israel is behind the explosions, which seeks to prevent the militarization of Iran and the implementation of the Iranian nuclear program.

Israeli officials do not comment on this information.

Meanwhile, as experts note, the explosions became help for Ukraine from "unknown allies", since now it will be more difficult for Iran to supply Shahed drones to Russia.
