One of the pilots of the F-4 "Phantom" fighter jet of the Greek Air Force (Air Force) that crashed earlier today in the Ionian Sea near the Peloponnese peninsula has been found dead, the Athens newspaper "Kathimerini" wrote, quoted by BTA.

The Greek Air Force confirmed that Lt. Marios-Michael Tourutsikas, 29, was fatally wounded.

The search for 31-year-old captain Eustathios Tsitlakidis continues.

The aircraft crashed during a low-flying exercise in tandem with another aircraft.
