Russia is sending additional forces to the border with Ukraine in the Kursk region, allegedly to "guarantee the security of the border".

This was stated by the governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, on Monday, January 30, the Russian propaganda agency Interfax reports.

According to the official, in the Kursk region, which borders Sumy, "a solid contingent" of forces and means has been formed.

He accuses Ukraine of allegedly "striking" the region without evidence.

The probability of an offensive and its timing depend on the dynamics at the front, the expert says.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian experts are talking about a new probable offensive of the Russian army, which may fall on February 24, 2023.

At the same time, everything depends on the dynamics at the front.

The Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhia directions are dangerous.

Also, the Polish general gave an alarming forecast regarding the new offensive of the Russian Federation.

According to him, Russia can strike Ukraine from the direction of Voronezh, Kursk or Bryansk, moving from there in a southern direction, west of Kharkiv, along the Vorskla River, which flows into the Dnipro.
