Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that Vladimir Putin threatened to use missiles against his country before a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

Since Ukraine is a place of opportunity, Boris Johnson decided to help it to strengthen its eastern flank from Russia.

Political scientist Mykola Davidyuk said this in a commentary on Channel 24.

According to him, Boris Johnson is a far-sighted politician, which is why he supports Ukraine so that there is no threat to Great Britain in 10-20 years.

Mykola Davydiuk is convinced that Putin could really threaten Boris Johnson and we should expect more interesting news from the ex-prime minister of Great Britain.

The political scientist is sure that the aid to Ukraine was based not only on fear of Russian missiles, but also on sincere love for Ukraine.

According to Davidyuk, Boris Johnson understands that Ukraine is a place of strength and all kinds of opportunities.

"His love was not only in the fear of receiving missiles, his love for Ukraine was in the very essence of his love for Ukraine, because he sees that it is a place of power. It is a place, on the one hand, of political opportunities, it is a place of military opportunities, well, this is the place where the fate of the world is decided," he said.

According to the political scientist, Johnson deeply understood the situation in Ukraine and was afraid of the Russian threat in 10-20 years.

Davidyuk also noted that the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Great Britain is based on the support of the Eastern European flank in order to counter the growing potential threat.

"I am more than sure that Johnson sees that these are the last convulsions of Russia, and this is where (it is necessary - ed.) to extinguish the military potential that was created in the Soviet Union and precisely to destroy it, clean it and bring it to a zero threat," - Mykola Davydiuk said.

According to the political scientist, if Russia had really dared to launch missiles at Great Britain, then the war against Ukraine might not have started, because then the British Air Defense Forces would have shot down these missiles in Europe, and Putin would have received a response, destroying him.

In that case, Great Britain would win, preventing a war on its territory, and put an end to Putin and his regime.

It will be recalled that the spokesman of the Russian dictator Dmytro Peskov commented on the words of the former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson that Putin threatened him with a missile attack.

The Kremlin claims that it is not true, and Johnson's words were called "lies".
