The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Mykola Malomuzh believes that the continuation of active offensive operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the liberation of the territories of Ukraine will force Russia to abandon threats to use

nuclear weapons

.

He told about this in an interview with OBOZREVATEL.

"This is, of course, the continuation of our active offensive operations, the transition to a new stage. Not only a defensive, but also a strategic offensive operation, the liberation of territories, and against this background the weakening of the Putin regime. In this case, politicians and the military in Russia will solve the issue before the threat of responsibility already with Putin himself - his removal or something else. They will agree with the West on the terms of capitulation or peace, but on the condition of maintaining the regime in the Russian Federation for a certain time," he said.

Malomuzh also believes that the Russians can motivate this with the same nuclear threat, when nuclear weapons can end up in the hands of new dictators of new states that can be formed during the collapse of the Russian Federation.

"Instead, they will guarantee stability, but on the condition that Putin is removed from power, that Ukraine receives compensation for losses due to the war, etc.," he explained.

Russia's nuclear weapons

Experts say that the West has already realized that

Russia's nuclear threats are a bluff

, so they will provide Ukraine with armed support to liberate the territories, but will act according to the strategy of small steps.

dictator Vladimir Putin's nuclear threats were not supported by India and China.

The coordinator of the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, said that American intelligence has no information

that could indicate any intention of Russia to

use weapons of mass destruction, in particular, tactical nuclear munitions.

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, noted that Russia stopped

openly threatening the world with nuclear war after comments from China

.

Danilov also noted that Beijing can influence Moscow in terms of war against Ukraine.
