They shot civilian cars, threw grenades into basements, shot locals at their feet - this is how the occupiers behaved in the village of Oleksandrivka, Kherson region, TSN reports.

The Russians left behind a solid ruin, instead of the former cozy and tourist village.

Here was the road of life and the road of death at the same time, because the locals used it to go to the free territory, and the occupiers shot cars.

"The Russians took the cars that people left in their yards, or simply disassembled them for spare parts," locals say.

During the "clearing" of the streets where civilians lived, the Russians fired bursts into the windows and threw grenades into the basements.

"They went where no one answered, they left.

Another neighbor said that when they came, he had already pulled out the check and was just throwing it, and she said: "Guys, I'm sitting here."

And why, he says, are you silent?" - a local man recounts.

Nowadays, Oleksandrivka is a complete ruin, and among the hundreds of broken houses there is burnt military equipment.

Broken wires, which have been without current for almost a year, sway in the wind.

There are no other communal facilities in the village either, but despite everything, people return here who have a place to return to.

Serhiy has already renovated one room, it is now a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom together.

The rest of the house, as well as the annex, will still have to be arranged.

Meanwhile, everything is covered with a film so that moisture does not flow in.

But in addition to repairs, you will have to buy new furniture and batteries.

"Sofas and bedding were also shot with a machine gun and batteries.

It is clear whether they were jealous or not, I don't know," says Serhiy.

How many people can be seen in the village during the issuance of the humanitarian aid.

This is the main gathering place where you can meet fellow villagers whom you haven't seen in months.

They have one problem for everyone and everyone has their own personal problem.

"We were crushed under the cow, the cow was killed.

My daughter had a hard time.

They ran away barefoot, and they stayed with a stick.

Bombs were flying behind us, the boss ran away in socks," the woman says.

Even in the midst of continuous grief and ruins, there are things that inspire hope that life will definitely win over death.

"The door, everything was open, the swallows lived here, so the nest was not abandoned," the residents of the village are convinced.
