European Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhei will meet this week in Brussels with Bulgarians from the Republic of North Macedonia.

This was reported to BNR by journalist Lyubcho Neshkov.

All about the topic:

Relations Bulgaria - Republic of Macedonia 834

"Then the EU will be able to hear what is happening in the RSM, not through journalists or Bulgarian politicians, but through the victims of this regime. And not only hear, but also take the necessary actions," he stressed.

Varhei thanked Borisov for supporting the French proposal

According to Neshkov, the

institutional hatred in North Macedonia is a copy of what is happening in Serbia

:

"The RSM is just a caricature of the ideology in Belgrade. ... The roots of the problems in Skopje are right there".

The journalist expressed his conviction that

with regard to the state ideology in the RSM in relation to Bulgaria, there is complete agreement

and synchronicity between the parties that are in the government of the country and in opposition:

"I don't know any Macedonian politician - whether in the government or in the opposition - who will take actions towards us that are not consistent with what they themselves call it - the deep state".

Neshkov pointed out that the

population of the RSM "lives under total anti-European propaganda - both from the ruling party and from the opposition".

According to Lyubcho Neshkov

, Bulgaria has never made strategic mistakes in relation to Macedonia

 - from the recognition of its independence to the signing of the Treaty on the normalization of our bilateral relations.

"The rapprochement between Bulgaria and North Macedonia is inevitable. For this reason, this poison is reaching such levels as we have never seen, because it no longer has the necessary strength and support and is coming to an end. The sooner, the better for the Macedonians themselves".

Commenting on the upcoming commemoration of Gotse Delchev on February 4, the journalist expressed his expectation for a "civilized attitude from the authorities in Skopje":

"I don't know such a Macedonian hero who will come out to block the highway between the Bulgarian border and Skopje, without support from the authorities. When we talk about escalation, we must talk about escalation from the other side. Could

n't we have beaten someone?

there will be a civilized attitude on the 4th of February is entirely in the hands of the Macedonian authorities

".

Petar Kolev, Georgi Trendafilov and Lyubcho Georgievski will participate in the delegation
