The Department of Food Safety stated that this time, 58 catering businesses, fresh supermarkets, traditional markets and stores that sell glutinous rice balls and seasonal ingredients have been targeted, and 20 pieces of red and white glutinous rice balls and stuffed glutinous rice balls have been sampled and inspected for preservatives. 32 pieces of stuffing, 20 pieces of dried beans and 16 pieces of purple (black) rice, inspected for pigments, preservatives and pesticide residues.
