Denmark faced France this Sunday in the Handball World Cup final.

He won, for the third time in a row, with a score of 34-29.

In the first half, the young Gidsel and Pytlick monopolized the Danish attack -10 goals between the two of their team's 16 at half-time.

The Danish start (0-3) kept them ahead until, on the brink of rest, France reduced the deficit to a minimum (16-15).

Denmark went twice again for three goals, but France resisted, looking for their pivot Tournat, and the final was still up in the air at minute 46 (24-25).

Denmark has been proclaimed handball world champion today after beating France in the final by 34-29.

Victory with a special flavor for the Danes for having been achieved in Stockholm.

Third consecutive world title for the Scandinavians.

In a desperate attempt, France approached with 29-31 and had a seven-meter shot with three minutes to go.

But just like what happened against Spain, Landin opportunely stopped Richardson's shot and practically closed the final, but not before his teammates opened the score again until that 34-29 that made them three-time champions.
