This Monday, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama, Janaina Tewaney Mencomo, who is on an official visit in our country, reported the Cuban Presidency on its Twitter profile.

As part of his agenda, Tewaney Mencomo held a meeting with his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Panamanian Foreign Minister arrived in the country last Saturday and was received by Eugenio Martínez Enríquez, general director of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and by Maibel Costa Ramírez, specialist of the Directorate of Central America of the Foreign Ministry

As part of his activities, he attended the closing of the V International Conference "For the Balance of the World" and paid tribute today to José Martí, National Hero of Cuba, in the capital's 13 de Marzo park.

Tewaney Mencomo was also the bearer of a message of brotherhood for both peoples.
