A fire broke out in a factory waste pile on Fengdi Road in Wufeng District, Taichung. Fortunately, it was extinguished in time and the fire did not spread. After a preliminary inspection of the monitor, it was suspected that the factory next door set off fireworks and ignited the paper tableware waste pile.

[Reporter Chen Jianzhi/Taichung Report] A factory on Fengdi Road, Wufeng District, Taichung suddenly caught fire at noon today. The pile of waste paper and tableware in front of the factory suddenly caught fire. When the personnel arrived at the scene, they immediately released water and extinguished the fire not long after. After checking the monitors, it was preliminarily judged that the fire was ignited by the fireworks set off by the factory next door.

The Taichung City Fire Department received a report at 12:30 noon today, alleging that a factory on Fengdi Road in Wufeng District was on fire. Lin Boyu, the leader of the Xinan branch, led the team to the rescue.

Firefighters arrived and found that the fire had started in a pile of paper tableware waste piled up in front of the factory. They rushed to rescue the fire immediately. Fortunately, they were found and extinguished in time. The fire did not spread and there were no casualties.

The firefighters initially checked the monitors and found that it was suspected that the factory next door set off fireworks and ignited the pile of paper tableware waste. However, the detailed cause of the fire still needs to be clarified by fire investigators.
