8,126 motor vehicles were checked as part of the ordered specialist police operation to comply with the Road Traffic Act.

9,983 drivers and passengers were checked.

2,074 slips and 548 acts were drawn up for established administrative violations, reports the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Emphasis in the action is the prohibition of driving by drivers who have consumed alcohol, narcotic substances and/or their analogues, as well as driving of motor vehicles by unlicensed drivers.

Within the past day, a total of 39 drivers were found to have gotten behind the wheel after drinking alcohol - 20 of them drove after drinking alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per thousand, 19 - with more than 1.2 per 1000, and one stopped for inspection refused to be tested.

10 people were found to be driving under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues, and three refused to be tested.

From the aggregated data: 2,084 motor vehicles and 2,267 drivers and passengers were checked by the "linear control" method;

for established violations, 503 slips and 118 AUAN were drawn up.

Two drivers were found sitting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per mille.

One was driving after using narcotic substances or their analogues.
