A South Carolina woman won $250,000 when she bought the last scratch-off ticket.

[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] A woman in Aiken, South Carolina, USA, recently went to a convenience store to buy a scratch-off lottery with only the last one left. Unexpectedly, she won $250,000 (approx. NT$7.56 million), which surprised her.

According to the South Carolina media "The State", the anonymous woman (the winner of the South Carolina lottery does not disclose her identity) revealed that there was only one Giant Jumbo Bucks scratch card she wanted to buy at the time, and she paid without thinking too much Buy it for $5 (about NT$151).

The woman won the $250,000 grand prize after scratching directly in the store. When she went to the South Carolina Lottery Center to receive the prize, she revealed that she did not tell anyone about the prize.

The odds of winning $250,000 in Giant Jumbo Bucks are 1 in 960,000, and there are currently four $250,000 tickets that have yet to be scratched out.
