Electricity restrictions will apply in

Kyiv

on Sunday, January 29.

Stabilizing blackout schedules will be introduced in the capital.

This was reported by DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks.

"On January 29, NEC Ukrenergo provided an average consumption limit for Kyiv at the level of 955 MW per day and 669 MW per night. In peak load hours at the current air temperature, this is 61% of the city's electricity needs, including domestic consumers, industry and critical infrastructure," the message says.

It is noted that the country's energy system has a significant deficit of electricity after the Russian attacks.

However, the proven limits of electricity consumption allowed the use of graphs in Kyiv.

They can be viewed on the DTEK website.

Energy experts urge Kyiv residents to use electricity sparingly, especially during peak load hours.

As a reminder, earlier Yasno CEO Serhiy Kovalenko explained

why the amount of payment for electricity in consumers' receipts increases, if there is almost no supply.

According to him, in particular, it is a matter of delayed or increased consumption of electricity after the supply is restored.
