Numerous Middle Eastern media sources on the night of January 29, 2023 are reporting that

Israel has launched a military operation against Iran

, but so far there has been no official announcement from the Israeli government or military. 

The source for the dissemination of information about the start of a special military operation against Iran was a message on the Twitter microblogging service of Al Arabia publication, however, also to unnamed Israeli mass media. 

At the same time, there are no reports of a military attack on Iran's official sources either. 

Meanwhile, social networks abound with reports of explosions in various cities of Iran, air raids, rebels, and airplane flights.
