Official Kyiv is conducting dynamic negotiations with Western countries regarding the supply of aviation equipment and long-range missiles to Ukraine.

APA reports that Mikhail Podoliak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said this in an interview with "Dom" TV channel.

The politician believes that instead of expressing dissatisfaction, the government of Ukraine should openly ask for the supply of necessary weapons every day.

It should be noted that on January 26 of this year, after the decision of a number of Western countries to send tanks to his country, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appealed to NATO to send modern warplanes and long-range missiles.

Also, the head of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, Dmitri Kuleba, also stated that some European countries have brought up the issue of providing US-made F-16 fighters to Kyiv.

It should be recalled that after these statements, on January 27, John Kirby, the Director of Strategic Communications of the White House National Security Council, said that the official Washington has accepted requests from Kyiv for fighter jets, including F-16s, but there is no new decision on this issue.
