[Reporter Chen Jianzhi/Taichung Report] A vacant lot on Shengwang Street in Xitun District, Taichung, was on fire at 6:00 this morning. Due to the violence of the fire, more than 20 people from the fire department were dispatched to the scene for rescue. Fortunately, the fire was extinguished in less than 20 minutes. The Taichung City Fire Department received a report from the public at 6:49 this morning, alleging that a vacant lot on Shengwang Street in Xitun District was on fire. Because there is a collective residence next to it, it aroused the concern of the residents, and immediately dispatched teams such as Liming, Nantun, and Xitun. Nine fire engines of various types and 24 firefighters were dispatched, led by Li Zangong, the leader of Liming Squad, to rescue.

When the firefighters arrived, they found burning debris in the open space, which spread to nearby trees and weeds, and rescued the fire immediately. The fire was extinguished at 7:50, and continued to deal with the residual fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Clarify after identification.
