Ukrainian artist

Jerry Heil

shared the details of her

studies

at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.

As the singer admitted, it takes a lot of money to pay for university studies.

When Jerry Heil found out she had been accepted to Berkeley, she had no money to pay for tuition.

Unfortunately, even during the war there were no discounts for Ukrainian students at the college.

"This is my old dream. But I sat, read this message and realized that with this money, which I saved for education, I bought my father a car, because he lost his job. I had to come up with something. I began to calculate how much it costs. Alas , there is no discount for Ukrainians. I was one Ukrainian among the first-year students, and there are only nine students in all of Berkeley. I don't understand why these nine people should be given a discount," the singer shared in an interview with Hryhoriy Reshetnik .

In the end, the singer was helped by her friends to pay for college, and then she started contributing funds on her own.

Jerry Heil also received a grant from Berkeley for doing well in entrance exams.

"Education for one semester costs 40,000 dollars. At the same time, I received a grant of 10,000. This means that Berkeley is helping me, because I showed myself well at the entrance. The rest, 30,000 dollars, I have to pay myself. In general, training lasts four years," the singer shared.
