The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution prohibiting the travel of officials, people's deputies, judges and law enforcement officers abroad during the war without valid reasons, according to the press service of the government.

During martial law, people's deputies, officials, representatives of local authorities, prosecutors, judges and many other officials, as specified by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal, will be able to cross the state border only on the basis of an official business trip.

"It is possible to go abroad for negotiations, for treatment, for the care of minor children.

To ride on vacation - no.

Unfortunately, there are those who did not understand these basic things even during the war.

Therefore, there was a decision of the National Security Service, there was a corresponding decree of the President of Ukraine, and now there is a corresponding resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers," he clarified.

On January 23, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree according to which Ukrainian officials will be able to travel outside of Ukraine only on official business trips.

The decision of the RNBA directly prohibits officials from leaving Ukraine for private purposes.

"Officials will no longer be able to travel abroad on vacation or for any other non-state purpose," Zelensky said.

In January, several scandals broke out in Ukraine related to the trips of officials and people's deputies abroad during the war.

After a New Year's trip to Spain, Deputy Prosecutor General Aleksey Simanenko has already resigned.

Verkhovna Rada deputy from the "Servant of the People" party Mykola Tishchenko was seen in Thailand, where he allegedly held a meeting with the Ukrainian community.

He was expelled from the party faction in the Verkhovna Rada and from the party itself.
