The press service of the Kherson regional prosecutor's office reported on the case.

"During an argument, a 34-year-old resident of Kherson shortened the age of his 60-year-old mother by stabbing her, which was incompatible with life. To hide the crime, he changed the victim into clean clothes, got rid of damaged things and traces of the crime. After that, he called the emergency room service and the police, reported the alleged natural death of a woman," the department specified.

The murder was solved, the perpetrator admitted his guilt.

The suspect is liable to imprisonment for up to 15 years.
