In Odesa, a woman was detained who gave birth to a

child 

in an abandoned building and left it there because she allegedly showed no signs of life. 

This was reported in the press service of the National Police of the Odesa region.

The dead boy was found on January 25.

The police sent the child's body for a forensic examination to determine the cause of death and began looking for the mother.

The child was abandoned by a 34-year-old native of Kirovohrad region without a permanent place of residence.

In two days, she was searched for in Odesa on Szegedska Street, where she relocated after several days of being based in the village of Khlibodarske.

The woman admitted that on January 10 she gave birth to a son in an abandoned building, where she temporarily lived with her roommate.

According to her, the baby allegedly showed no signs of life, so she left him without thinking about the consequences.

She was not registered due to her pregnancy.

The woman already has three older children who do not live with her due to lack of housing.

Her mother is suspected of negligence.
