Nanguang High School in Xinying District, Tainan will hold a two-day "2023 Nanguang Model United Nations Conference" from today (28th). The Model United Nations meeting included 75 student representatives from Nanguang High School, Kaohsiung Fengshan High School, Tainan No. 2 Middle School, Shenggong Girls High School, Yinghai Middle School, Xinying High School, Xingguo Middle School, Changrong Middle School, and Chiayi Women's Communist Party of China.

The event held two meetings, one for the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to discuss the issue of Arctic sea routes; Fears of authoritarianism prevailing.

The entire conference was organized by the students of the Nam Kwong student association "Model United Nations Club". From the design of the propaganda to the dissemination of information, from the planning of the agenda to the hosting of the conference, all the students took care of it, showing the diverse learning results.

"Model United Nations" allows students to imitate representatives of various countries to carry out the agenda of various United Nations organization meetings, explore foreign cultures through language, conduct cross-cultural reflection, enhance social participation and cultivate an international outlook.
