A house fire broke out in the second section of Sanfeng Road, Fengyuan, Taichung early this morning. The fire department dispatched more than 40 people to rescue. On the third floor, a woman surnamed Cai was found on the scene without breathing and heartbeat. She was sent to the hospital and was still dead.

[Reporter Chen Jianzhi/Taichung Report] A residential house in Section 2, Sanfeng Road, Fengyuan District, Taichung, caught fire at around 4:00 this morning. The Taichung City Fire Department was reported to dispatch more than 40 firefighters to the scene to rescue them. Although the fire lasted less than 30 minutes It was extinguished, but a man in his 60s was burned and sent to the hospital, and a woman in her 70s surnamed Cai was rescued on the 3rd floor. She was no longer breathing and had a heartbeat at the scene. Although she was sent to the hospital for first aid, she still died. The detailed cause of the fire will be released today. Clarify after identification.

The Taichung City Fire Department received a report from the public at 4:18 this morning, alleging that a house caught fire in the second section of Sanfeng Road, Fengyuan District, and one person was trapped in the house. Immediately dispatched the first brigade, Fengyuan, Fengnan, Houli The team dispatched 17 fire engines of various types, and 42 firefighters arrived at the scene for rescue.

When the firefighters arrived, a man in his 60s had already escaped from the fire scene. His left thigh was burnt and he was conscious. The firefighters sent him to the hospital for treatment. The smoke continued to rise, and the fire was put out with water immediately, and the fire was extinguished at about 4:41.

When the firefighters entered the house to search, they found a woman surnamed Cai in her 70s on the third floor. She was not breathing or had a heartbeat at the scene. She was immediately rescued and sent to the hospital. However, she was still declared dead after first aid. The detailed cause of the fire will be clarified by fire investigators after identification.
