Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath yesterday in Rajasthan declared Sanatan Dharma as the national religion of India.

While presiding over the idol restoration and anointing program at Neelkanth Mahadev Temple in Bhinmal, CM Yogi said that 'Sanatan Dharma is the national religion of India' which should be respected by every citizen.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Yogi urged the people to launch a campaign to restore the desecrated religious places on the lines of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

During this, Yogi Adityanath and Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat planted Rudraksh.

Chief Minister Yogi further said, 'If our religious places have been defiled in any period, then on the lines of Ayodhya where a grand temple of Lord Ram is being constructed after 500 years, a campaign for its renovation should be launched.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts and all of you devotees have contributed to the construction of this grand national temple of Lord Rama, representing the national spirit."

With this, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the countrymen pledge to respect their heritage and preserve it.

He said that the grand restoration of Lord Neelkanth's temple after 1400 years is an example of respect and preservation of heritage.

Yogi Adityanath said that the land of Rajasthan is the focal point of coordination of religion, karma, devotion and power.

and "If you want to understand the real secrets of religion, then it is necessary to come to Rajasthan."
