Russian President

Vladimir Putin

will not agree to discuss the terms of his surrender with the West.

For Putin, it is better that everyone dies with him than to go to such negotiations.

At the same time, Western leaders also want to negotiate not with the current president of the Russian Federation, but with his possible successors.

This opinion was expressed in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua by the Russian opposition leader, ex-deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation

Ilya Ponomaryov

.

When asked whether Putin will raise the white flag over the Kremlin, Ponomariov answered:

"

For Putin, leaving power is a huge personal danger

. He understands that whatever promises are made under the pressure of the international community and laws,

he can be a victim of it, can be brought to justice, destroyed physically

. Anything can happen. It will the question of self-preservation of those people who will be his successors. The question of trust here is very doubtful."

According to him, such negotiations are very dangerous for Putin - "it is better for him that everyone dies with him than to leave power peacefully."

"There should be a very serious proposal, backed by something, that can be treated with a certain level of trust. But I believe that

nobody will negotiate with Putin, that time has passed. It will be toxic for international leaders. They can negotiate with the successors, with the conditional Mishustin, Kiriyenko, Kudrin, representatives of the "system liberals"

... You can negotiate with such people, but these people can negotiate only when they understand what is at stake and that the West offers them some protection," explained the ex-Deputy of the State Duma.

It will be recalled that Russian political scientist

Abbas Gallyamov

, citing his sources, reported that Russian President

Vladimir Putin

and his henchmen are developing a plan to flee to Latin America in case of defeat in the war and a coup d'état.

Advisor to the President's Office,

Oleksiy Arestovych

, claims that Putin allegedly asked China for political asylum three times.

In turn, military expert

Mykhailo Samus

predicts that Russia may soon withdraw from all occupied territories of Ukraine, including Crimea, isolate itself and eventually turn into a fascist-type dictatorship.

Despite the defeat in the war, Putin will retain power, but he will no longer be able to prevent Ukraine from joining the EU and NATO.
