Voting for the second round of presidential elections has started in the Czech Republic today.

APA informs that this was reported by TASS.

According to the information, 14,857 polling stations have been opened for voting, where 8.25 million of the Czech population (about 10.6 million people) can vote.

3,779 citizens who have reached the age of majority will be able to vote for the first time in the elections to be held in two days.

The results of the voting will be announced in the evening of January 28.

Before that, the president was elected by the parliament.

It should be noted that as a result of the first round held on January 13-14 of this year, the former chairman of the NATO Military Committee, retired general Petr Pavel and the former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Andrey Babis, went to the second round of voting.
