The concert by Ensemble Habana XXI will open with the piece Eros baila con György Ligeti, a sextet by Cuban composer Juan Piñera, inspired by a work by the Austro-Hungarian György Ligeti.

The Ensemble Habana XXI will offer the concert When the river sounds, a sound journey through the waters of the Vltava, in which it will perform Czech classical music from the 20th century, on Thursday, February 2, at 7:00 pm, in the Museum's Theater Room National of Fine Arts.

The function is part of the Musical Landscapes concert series, which aims to disseminate the work of Czech composers of academic music of the last century and make visible the role of women in this field, and will be held within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Czech Republic.

Vtlava (El Moldava)

, by Bedrich Smetana, a symphonic poem by the ensemble

Má vlast (My Homeland)

, where the composer alludes to landscapes from the Bohemian region.

This work is a symbol of the Czech Republic.

The Ensemble Habana XXI will be directed by César Eduardo Ramos.

The concert has the collaboration of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cuba and the National Center for Concert Music.
