On the night of January 27, the army of the Russian Federation shelled the Nikopol district in the 

Dnipropetrovsk

region .

The last threat of artillery shelling lasted almost 12 hours.

This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk.

The occupiers attacked the Myriv community several times in a row with anti-aircraft guns.

The enemy fired about half a hundred shells at a peaceful settlement.

As a result of shelling, a shop, a bakery, and a beauty salon were damaged.

Dozens of residential buildings and farm buildings, gas furnaces, and power lines were also affected. 

According to him, people were not injured.

However, the survey of the territories that came under shelling is ongoing. 

"No more hostile attacks on the communities of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast have been recorded," the head of the regional council emphasized.

As a reminder, the Russian occupying forces

attacked the village of Ocheretine in the Donetsk region.

As a result of the enemy attack, two people were killed, and at least one more person was wounded.
