The EU's external borders need to be improved to curb the flow of illegal migrants, says European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen

A total of 15 measures are listed to lead to a more tolerable situation with the influx of migrants.

Among these measures are increasing efforts to return those who arrived illegally in the EU, registering each one of them, resettling them on a voluntary basis, negotiating with the countries from where they arrived.
