The Government of Ukraine has approved the procedure for booking
conscripts
during martial law.
This was announced today, January 27, by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, in his Telegram channel.
"The procedure for booking conscripts according to the list of conscripts during martial law has been approved, as well as the procedure and criteria for identifying enterprises, institutions and organizations that are critically important for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihood of the population in a special period," he said.
Melnychuk also noted that it was established that deferments from conscription for military service during mobilization, which were granted to conscripts by decisions of the Ministry of Economy, are valid for the period for which they were granted.
It will be recalled that earlier the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko, said that in accordance with the "Law on Mobilization and Mobilization Training", the
reservation of conscripts
in wartime is carried out by the decision of the Ministry of Economy in order to ensure the functioning of state authorities, other state bodies, local self-government bodies, as well as enterprises (and critical infrastructure), institutions and organizations, in particular authorized banks, which meet the needs of the Armed Forces, other military formations, and the population.
The volumes of reservation of conscripts working in state authorities are determined taking into account the need to provide for them in the conditions of martial law.
