The amount of debt
of the city of Dnipro
for heating
as of the end of January is
1 billion 439 million 892 thousand hryvnias
.
Only 30% of the population pays for the service.
Deputy Mayor Mykhailo Lysenko informed about this.
"The other 70% probably believe that because of the war, these debts will somehow be written off or something similar will happen. I assure you, none of the above will happen," he wrote.
Lysenko warned that in the near future,
boiler plants will probably be cut off from gas
, as utility companies do not receive money from the population and
are unable to pay for the gas
they receive .
"The boiler plants will not be turned off by the KP, but by the organizations that supply them with gas. Today, the amount owed to them is 1 billion 215 million 380 thousand. In simple words, out of the public debt of 1.4 billion, the debt for gas is 1.2 billion," explained the deputy mayor
He
called on the city's residents to pay their debts.
"Otherwise, soon, we may get the same situation with gas due to fan power outages," Lysenko warned.
It will be recalled that the Russian army shelled the Nikopol district in the Dnipropetrovsk region at night.
The threat of artillery shelling lasted for almost 12 hours.
