Japan is introducing new

sanctions

against Russian companies and individuals, as well as trade restrictions.

This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.

In particular, a ban on the export of vaccines and medical equipment to Russia is introduced.

49 Russian companies are on the list of those who have come under export restrictions in Japan.

Sanctions are also introduced against three organizations and 22 individuals.

Among them are Minister of Justice Konstantin Chuychenko, Head of Central Committee Ella Pamfilova, Vice Prime Ministers Dmytro Chernyshenko and Andriy Belousov, as well as Deputy Minister of Defense Mykhailo Mizintsev.
