At the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" it was forbidden to use the Russian language in the institution for students, teachers and administration.

This was announced by the head of the Supervisory Board of the NaUKMA, Gennady Zubko.

The new norm was prescribed in the Rules of Internal Procedure of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

"

It is forbidden to use the language of the aggressor state - Russian - within the walls of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy"

, - noted Zubko.

He reminded that teaching in Russian has not been conducted at the university for a long time, so now the ban applies to communication among themselves in the educational institution.

"This applies to absolutely everyone: teachers, students, administrative staff. This norm is written in the new Rules of Internal Procedure of NaUKMA, which were approved by the university today at the 40th session of the Academic Conference," said the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the university.

We will remind you that on November 10, 2022, the Kyiv City Council decided to completely exclude the Russian language from the curriculum in schools and kindergartens.
