Controversial BBC documentary was shown by SFI and 'The Kashmir Files' by ABVP at University of Hyderabad.

New Delhi:

The Students' Federation of India (SFI) organized a screening of the controversial BBC documentary on the 2002 Gujarat riots at the University of Hyderabad on Thursday.

Meanwhile, ABVP, the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), screened the controversial film 'The Kashmir Files' in the university campus.

The Central Government has banned the exhibition of BBC documentary 'India: The Modi Question'.

Sharing the pictures on social media, SFI said, “On the call of SFI, the documentary 'India: The Modi Question' was successfully screened on Republic Day.

More than 400 students turned up to witness it, thwarting the ABVP's attempts to create disinformation and unrest.

SFI salutes the student community who have stood up for freedom of expression and democracy on campus.

In response, ABVP students demonstrated 'The Kashmir Files' in the university campus today.

Significantly, this film, written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, depicts the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir after the killings of Kashmiri Hindus by Pakistan-backed terrorists.
