The ruling New Democracy maintains a 5.9% lead over the left-wing opposition SYRIZA, according to an MRB poll presented on Open TV on Thursday.

New Democracy collected 30.2% against SYRIZA's 24.3%, ahead of the center-left PASOK with 10.5%, the communist KKE (5%), the nationalist Greek Revolution (4.4%) and the radical left MeRA25 (2.9%) .

The Elines party, led by the imprisoned Ilias Kasidiaris, a former leading member of the banned neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party, gets 2.5%.

The threshold for entering the parliament is 3%.

According to the survey, 63% believe Kasidiaris should be banned from running in the next election.
