Natural gas will become cheaper by nearly 30% in February compared to the January price.

This was announced by the executive director of Bulgargaz, Denitsa Zlateva, during today's open meeting of the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR).

The meeting discusses a report related to the price proposed by the public supplier for the next month at which to sell natural gas to final suppliers and to persons who have been issued a license for the production and transmission of thermal energy.

KEVR adopted Schedule for planned inspections in 2023.

The price we expect from February 1 will be in the range of BGN 129-130 per megawatt hour - nearly 30 percent lower than the regulated price for January, she said.

BTA reminds that KEVR confirmed the price of natural gas for January in the amount of BGN 179.33 per megawatt hour (MWh), excluding prices for access, transmission, excise duty and VAT.
