At various areas of the front, some active actions are now starting, which can be considered as a distraction.

Because the Russian command, based on military science, is trying to confuse the armed forces, Ukrainian intelligence, and hide the direction of the main strike.

Ihor Levchenko, military analyst of the Army, Conversion and Disarmament Research Center, told about this in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua.

"Some possible preparation by the enemy for the offensive is being conducted, from the point of view of strategic planning. Because we see that some active actions are beginning in various areas of the front, which can be considered as a distraction, including. In this case, the Russian command, leaving from military science, it tries to confuse our military, our Ukrainian intelligence, and hide, let's say, the direction of the main strike," the expert noted.

According to Levchenko, we can say with a high degree of probability that the enemy offensive will be somewhere in the Donetsk or Luhansk directions.

"It is unlikely that it will be in the south, and it is unlikely that it will be the opening of a new front, that is, some kind of large-scale offensive from Russian territory in the Kharkiv region or somewhere in that direction. Not to mention Belarus and so on," the analyst concluded.

It will be recalled that on January 25, the Secretary of the National Security Council Oleksiy Danilov said that the Russians are preparing for a powerful attack on Ukraine.

This may happen in a month or two.
