The occupiers in Luhansk region are trying to prevent the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Kreminna, because they fear that Ukrainian troops will finally cut the Svatove-Kreminna line, which is so important for the enemy's defense.

Ihor Levchenko, a military analyst of the Army, Conversion and Disarmament Research Center, told about this in an interview with TSN.ua.

As in the area of Bakhmut, Soledar, the Russians are now in the Luhansk region making the main bet on the massive use of a large number of infantry.

"In the Luhansk direction, the enemy is trying to prevent the movement of our troops to Kreminna

and the final cutting of the Svatove-Kreminna line, which is very important for the enemy from the point of view of defense, by carrying out some counteroffensive actions

. The enemy is trying to build up groups in manpower. From the point of view of his tactics in the area Bakhmut, Soledar and so on, now our enemy is mainly betting on the massive

use of large masses of infantry with limited support from artillery

and with very little support from armored combat vehicles," the military analyst described the situation.

He noted that such actions of the enemy can be expected in various directions.

However, this strategy of the Russians does not bring them advantages, instead it causes losses.

"According to the experience of Soledar and Bakhmut, we can say that such tactics do not bring the enemy any sense of advantages and achievements, but are characterized by

large losses in manpower

. At the current stage of the war, our enemy is betting precisely on the massive use of manpower," Levchenko summarized .

It will be recalled that, according to the Institute for the Study of War, the Russian occupiers are preparing to launch a decisive counterattack in the Luhansk Region in order to prevent the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Kreminnaya and repel them.

Therefore, the enemy is trying to disperse Ukrainian units, forcing them to respond to attacks in other directions.

According to SBU Reserve Major General Viktor Yagun, Russian troops are trying to assemble a so-called armored fist of mostly trained mobilized forces and plan to attack Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
