Patna:

It is well known that every year lakhs of laborers from Bihar migrate to many cities of the country, especially cities like Surat, Mumbai, Ludhiana, Delhi in search of jobs.

But now the District Magistrate of West Champaran, Kundan Kumar has created a startup zone with the help of the same workers who returned during the Corona period.

Which is being known as 'Chanpatia Model'.

The effect of this model is that till yesterday the laborers who were working in someone else's company are now the owners of their industry and are giving employment to others.

Talking to NDTV, Archana Kushwaha, engaged in self-employment under 'Chanpatiya Model', said that she was in Surat for ten years and then came back here.

The people here have liked our work a lot.

We are making it available to the people at a cheap rate, that's why people are liking our work.

In this startup zone, you will find 50 more entrepreneurs like Archana.

Like Gulshan who used to do business of steel utensils with his father in Delhi and now he has started this work near his village.

Everyone believes that he thought of coming here because there is

no need to struggle for electricity, water or bank loan etc.

The workers who have returned from Ludhiana have also started making sweater jackets and this year they have even sent their goods to Kashmir.

Where their sales have been very good.

Jitendra Kumar said that I was working in Ludhiana since 2004, we had returned home due to Corona.

Then it started.

West Champaran District Magistrate Kundan Kumar said that the work is the result of everyone's united effort.

The entrepreneurs working here say that till now all the start ups are doing a turnover of around twenty five crores, if the cooperation continues like this, it can be doubled in the next one year.
