"Karpowership" will cooperate with Ukraine's JSC Energy Company, the Ukrainian government and international organizations to provide 500 megawatts of electricity in Ukraine and power more than 1 million households.

At present, the power generation ships under "karpowership" are on standby in Moldova and Romania, Ukraine's neighboring countries. If the governments of the two countries agree, the power generation ships can be transmitted to the Ukrainian power grid at any time.

"Karpowership" commercial director Zeynep Harezi Yilmaz said: "Generation ships are a fast, reliable and flexible solution to power shortages, and we are ready to support Ukraine so that it can get the energy it needs as soon as possible."

Vitaly Butenko, CEO of Ukraine's JSC Energy Company, said: "Ukraine's energy system has suffered 12 attacks from Russia, resulting in damage to power generation facilities and power shortages. While the war continues, we need innovative solutions to deal with the current crisis."
