The Constitutional Court opened a case to establish the unconstitutionality of the assignment of the Council of Ministers to conclude a contract with the USA for new capacity of the Kozloduy NPP, the press center of the court announced. 



The Committee on Energy in the National Assembly assigned the Council of Ministers to conduct negotiations with the US government for the conclusion of an Intergovernmental Agreement for the construction of a new nuclear power plant at the Kozloduy NPP with the AP1000 technology (block 7 of the Kozloduy NPP).

BSP and "Vazrazhdane" announced on Wednesday that they will appeal to the Constitutional Court.
