Russia, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, gave new details in a comment for TSN.ua.

"Yesterday there were signs that the enemy was preparing, there was movement on their airfields. At night, as we remember, there was an attack by drones. But if they, the drones, were in sufficient numbers, the enemy would launch them every day. How it was in October. So, now they don't have enough of them. The drones may have been launched to detect our air defense, exhaust, adjust," said Yuriy Ignat.  

Is a second wave of missile attack possible today?

To this question, Ignat answered us as follows: "I do not have such information. Although there was such a thing when the second wave took place, around 5:00 p.m. Regarding the "Daggers", they say that the enemy has about 40 of them left. No one knows the exact number . They can still produce them, but not in sufficient quantity."

Sources of TSN.ua in the Ministry of Defense do not rule out that this time the shelling was carried out in order to "congratulate" the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on his birthday - he turned 45 yesterday.

Explosions rang out in Kyiv on the morning of January 26 during an air raid warning.

Russian troops fired about 20 rockets in the direction of the capital.

As a result of hitting a non-residential building in the Holosiiv district, one person was killed and two others were injured.

The injured were hospitalized by medics.

During the missile attack on Ukraine, the Russian military launched 55 air- and sea-based

(X-101, X-555, X-47 "Kinzhal", "Kalibr", X-59) from Tu-95, Su-35, MiG-31K and ships from the Black Sea.
