The president of RSM Stevo Pendarovski proposes to introduce a ban on entry into the country of one MEP from Bulgaria and several other Bulgarian politicians because of the actions they are taking against Skopje.

The occasion is the celebration of Gotse Delchev on February 4 in the Macedonian capital.

Against this background, our ambassador in Skopje will remain in Bulgaria.

Calling an ambassador for consultation is the step before he is recalled - it is a diplomatic move, a warning.

His stay in our country can be taken as a kind of withdrawal from the RSM.

That's a good move.

Since the French proposal was accepted, there have only been provocations in our western neighbor.

This was stated by Prof. Nikolay Ovcharov from the National Circle "For Macedonia" on the air of "Bulgaria Morning".

According to him, half a year after the signing of the French proposal, no real actions have been taken in relation to its clauses, including the inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution and changes in textbooks.

Historian: Within 15 years, North Macedonians will disappear as a nation

He called

on the political elite of the country to be firmer in their positions towards the provocations of the RSM

"The ban list proposed by Pendarovski will worsen the relations between our countries. As far as I understand, the Macedonian government has rejected the idea. It makes no sense for us to make a similar list," the guest emphasized.

Prof. Ovcharov is of the opinion that the RSM themselves are postponing their acceptance into the European Union, as they have not taken a single step in this direction.

"In the end, it will turn out that she is Russia's Trojan horse. There have been crazy accusations that our MEP and other people on the ban list were under Russian pressure. The thief is calling - catch the thief. The idea is through the RSM to disunite the EU forces on The Balkans," he noted to Bulgaria ON AIR.

The historian believes that the

provocations by the RSM are not accidental

- "Pendarovski's position stimulates people like the criminal from Ohrid".

"I am pessimistic that Bulgarian-Macedonian relations have a future. Hatred for Bulgaria has been rooted for several generations. I expect provocations during the celebrations of Gotse Delchev in February," Ovcharov was categorical.
