In recent times, Armenia has been making groundless claims about the alleged closure of the Lachin-Khankendi road in the territory of Azerbaijan.

APA reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this on January 26 when he accepted the credentials of the newly appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the French Republic to our country, Ms. Anne Boyo.

The head of state noted that these allegations are completely false and nonsense.

President Ilham Aliyev said that Russian peacekeepers and the International Committee of the Red Cross will ensure the transportation of civilian goods and civilians in this way.

Since December 12, nearly 1,000 vehicles have been allowed to pass through this road in both directions.
