There is no doubt that Hristiyan Pendikov was attacked by hatred.

We are moving on the data from Ohrid.

So far, the motives of the crime are not clear, according to the prosecutor's office in Ohrid.

We are waiting for the real investigation and then the decision of the court.

This was stated by our ambassador to the Republic of North Macedonia (RSM), Angel Angelov, in the program "More of the Day" on BNT.

"There is an escalation of radical speech against Bulgarians, especially in social networks.

We tried to address it to the authorities in Skopje, but to no avail," he pointed out.

"We made it so that RSM has a real diversification of gas supplies, then we opened a new building of a cultural information center, held a big business forum, together we bowed before the monument of St.

Kliment Ohridski in Ohrid, but all this was suppressed by the radical talk", recalled our ambassador in Skopje.

The beating of Christian in Ohrid: "Dirty Bulgarian, we will beat you"

"I see that we are talking, as it were, in different languages, and this is a very serious problem.

We pay serious attention to the fact that there is a problem, and on the other side they tell us that there is none.

For 30 years, our relationship has been a sine wave - right now we are going down, but then we will have to go up.

Trust will have to be restored.

Our position has always been to build good neighborly relations and bridges.

My task is to build bridges between the two countries," assured Angelov.

According to him, despite the events of the last few days, communication channels are not closed, no one has interrupted these relations.

"We must find such formulas that we see those convicted and punished for the attacks against Bulgarians.

We want to show the public that these encroachments are punishable," the diplomat pointed out.

"The issue of the attack on Hristiyan Pendikov for the RSM is an internal political issue, but it is important for the European integration of the country.

In order for the Bulgarians in the RSM not to be discriminated against, they must be included in the Constitution.

This is one of the conditions for starting the negotiations with the EU", emphasized Ambassador Angelov.
