National Highway No. 3 220K southbound to Caotun section of Nantou, a burning car accident occurred at around 10:00 a.m., but fortunately no casualties were caused.

[Reporter Tong Zhenguo/Report from Nantou] During the Lunar New Year’s Eve, there was a heavy traffic flow on the five national highways going south to north. The Caotun section of Nantou County National Highway No. 3 went south and the Zhongxing section went north. In the morning, there were accidents involving a burning vehicle and a three-vehicle collision. Fortunately, both accidents were No one was injured, but the traffic was blocked for 1 or 2 kilometers, which increased the driving time.

The National Highway 7 team stated that 220 kilometers south of National Highway No. 3 is at the Caotun section. At 10:20 in the morning, a small passenger car burned down. Fortunately, no one was injured and no other vehicles were affected. The fire at the scene was violent. The police considered driving safety and temporarily closed the outer lanes and road shoulders. The fire brigade quickly extinguished the fire after 11:00.

Also on the inner lane of the Zhongxing section of the 225.9 km north of National Highway No. 3. At 11:30 in the morning, three passenger cars chased and collided with the inner lane, and caused the traffic to backtrack for about 2 kilometers. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. At noon, the scene of the accident was ruled out and reopened to traffic, and the journey was delayed by about 30 minutes.

On the 225.9K northbound section of National Highway No. 3, at Zhongxing Road in Nantou, three small passenger cars were chased and collided with them at around 11:00 a.m. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the traffic was once blocked for 2 kilometers.
