One of the motions submitted regarding the cancellation of parliamentary immunity of Seyran Ohanyan, the leader of the "Armenia" faction, is related to the accusation brought against the former Minister of Defense David Tonoyan.

APA reports that "Graparak" publication of Armenia wrote about this.

It was noted that in one of the criminal cases opened against the former Minister of Defense Ohanyan, he is accused of embezzlement, and in the other, he is accused of dereliction of duty.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia sent three petitions to the country's parliament regarding the deprivation of Ohanyan's parliamentary immunity, one of which was in "secret" mode.

Later, it became known that another former defense minister, David Tonoyan, was arrested as part of that "secret" case.

It should be recalled that on January 20 of this year, the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, submitted three petitions to the speaker of the country's parliament, Alen Simonyan, for the approval of the initiation of a criminal case against Seyran Ohanyan, the head of the "Armenia" faction and the former Minister of Defense.
