The requirements regarding the mandatory state registration of rights over land plots are being tightened.

APA reports that this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the "Land Code" which was discussed at today's meeting of the Agrarian Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis.

According to the project, the state registration of land rights (except lease and use rights with a term of less than eleven months) will be carried out in the state register of real estate in accordance with the legislation.

Relevant information related to the lease (use) of agricultural lands owned by the state and municipalities (registered rights on the land, encumbrance (restriction) of rights, rights holders, parties to lease or use agreements, term and purpose of the agreement) is transferred from the register to the information system in real time, as well as the use or lease agreements concluded for a period of less than eleven months will be directly entered into the information system by the user or lessor.

According to the current Code, the state registration of land rights is carried out in the state register of immovable property in accordance with the legislation.
